Road to the Oscars: Broadcast Critics Association Nominations
It’s another good week for The Artist and Hugo who continue to pick-up numerous prestiage awards from various films critic associations, including the Los Angeles film critics and AFI. Now, both films have received the most nominations for the Broadcast Critics Association awards, one of the best indicators of the Oscars. Often you’ll see the most repeats between the two, such as Natalie Portman taking home both awards last year for best actress. But not always, The Social Network won the BFCA and not the Oscar. So it’s still very much an open game until the guilds begin announcing their nominations. The best part about these nominations is that Midnight in Paris recieved numerous nomiantions including best picture and best screenplay. Finally, someone is showing love for the best picture of the year.
Here’s the full list of nominees.
