This blog will be on hiatus until after Labor Day
So, I’m on vacation until after Labor Day and a good internet connection will be hard to find, so I’m putting the blog on hiatus until then. I might post something every so often in case it’s really important. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Here is the first trailer for Underworld: Awakening. I’ve always found these films to be mediocre vampire fare but Michael Sheen was in them so I didn’t care. But, I’m not impressed with this fourth film, all though Charles Dance is a prefect replacement for Billy Nighy, we’re missing Scott Speedman and it just won’t work without him.

Anyone who is a fan of The Nanny (like myself) would have been thrilled to see Charles Shaugnessy’s (Mr. Shefflied) guest spot on last night’s season finale of Happily Divorced. Take a look at the hilerious clip.

Anderson Cooper loses it while tapping a pun filled segment about Gerard Depardieu’s plane fiasco. Cooper has a pretty girly laugh. Check it out.

‘Up in Smoke’ recap of episode 8 of ‘True Blood’
***Spoilers and language***
Towards the end of last night’s episode Pam proclaims, “This is so fucking lame!” and she’s right in regards to certain scenes in the episode, but for the majority, it was an exciting and entertaining installment of our favorite guilty pleasure. So let’s discuss “Spellbound.”
The lame scenes to which I refer were the scenes between Sookie and Eric. Not...

Here is the trailer for Coriolanus, (good luck saying that 5 times fast) Ralph Fiennes’ first post Harry Potter film and a Shakespeare adaptation. It seems that he is giving the Iraq war (or something like it) the Shakespeare treatment. It also stars Vanessa Redgave, Gerard Bulter, and Jessica Chastain, who seems to be in everything these days.

‘The Rising Sun’ recap of episode 7 of ‘True...
Last night’s exciting episode of True Blood, “The Cold Grey Light of Dawn,” was the best episode of the season thus far, though last week’s had better writing. This episode included several major plot developments, and revealed new destines to four characters: Tara, Lafayette, Bill, and Jessica. We will have to wait to see how these new destines unfold in the course of the rest of the season, but...

‘Howling at the Moon’ recap of episode 5 and 6 of...
My blog was on hiatus last week, but now I’m back with a super new recap of the recent episode of True Blood. However, I’m going to be brief so I’m not really going to talk about episode 5 because it was really just a continuation of the shenanigans that had been occurring in the previous episodes. Episode 6 “I wish I were the moon’, on the other hand, was quite a game changer, especially the...
